OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SUSTAINABILITY

When it comes to creating our paper towels in a responsible manner, we consider every step of the journey — from making thoughtful paper towel design considerations in the beginning to ensuring the cardboard tubes can be recycled when finished.

PROTECTING NATURAL HABITATS BY HELPING TAKE CARE OF FORESTS

Endangered wildlife like the Louisiana black bear help maintain our forests’ ecosystems, and our goal is to keep them and other vulnerable species going strong. This means we only source wood from these areas if active forest management is needed to improve the overall habitat.

THE TREES WE USE ARE REPLENISHED

We play an ongoing role in keeping forests as forests — ensuring that they continue to help protect air and water quality, provide important habitat for wildlife and offer recreational opportunities that we all can enjoy.

This third-party certification means the raw materials we use are legally sourced, and we use trained loggers who follow best practices for preserving biodiversity and water quality.

Because availability of store drop off programs varies, we do not claim the Brawny packaging as recyclable. However, you can take the plastic wrap to any retail store that collects plastic grocery bags for recycling. Be sure to check in your area for locations that offer such collection at www.plasticfilmrecycling.org. When it comes to the paper tube, you can continue to put it in your curbside recycling bin.
